Celebrating eight months since launch
The BC Community Climate Funding Guide has officially been live for 8 months!
In that time, we’ve helped thousands of people learn about potential funding for their communities. Our analytics show that since July, our website has been viewed almost 13,000 times by over 4,500 unique people from all over B.C. and even some places in Alberta and Washington State.
When designing the site, we engaged the community and worked to find out what would meet the needs of potential applicants. We heard that deadlines are important when searching out funding opportunities and this prompted us to include the Deadline Tracker in the site design.
According to our data, most people end up on our Funding page and then travel on to either our Fund Finder or Deadline Tracker pages. We’re pleased to see that we succeeded in providing a clear route to this important information. This means we’re connecting people with the knowledge necessary to secure funding for their communities.
Our goal is to provide a clear, one-stop resource with climate funding opportunities for local and Indigenous governments. This site was built with you in mind, and we’re committed to continuing to make improvements that help users and support B.C.’s effort to enhance the accessibility of CleanBC and other climate-related programs.
