BC Hydro provides financial support to local governments, Indigenous communities, and industry and professional associations to create access to the skills, practices, and resources required to build to higher energy efficiency and zero carbon standards, such as the BC Energy Step Code and the Zero Carbon Step Code.

Local governments and Indigenous communities must be located within the BC Hydro service territory. Industry and professional associations must have their head office or a regional office based in BC.
