Fraser Basin Council (FBC)The CleanBC Go Electric Rebates Program is designed to support the adoption of ZEVs in a variety of applications including a variety of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, motorcycles, low-speed vehicles, electric cargo bicycles (cargo e-bikes), and utility vehicles, referred to as specialty-use vehicles. The Program targets specialty-use vehicles that are not included in the CleanBC Go Electric Passenger Vehicle Rebate Program, which focuses on light-duty (passenger) vehicles
Eligible Community
The Go Electric Rebates Program is available to individuals and to public and private organizations/fleets in British Columbia. Individuals may only access rebates for zero-emission motorcycles and neighbourhood electric vehicles (within the low-speed vehicle category). Organizations may access all vehicle categories and may receive a maximum of ten rebates from the Program. For on-road medium- and heavy-duty category (and Class 8 airport/port vehicles) organizations can receive up to 10 rebates per year. Requests for more than ten rebates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The purchaser/lessee of the vehicle must be a person, business, non-profit, or public sector organization that is based in British Columbia or that has a British Columbia-based affiliate. All businesses must provide a valid B.C. business license when submitting an application to the Program.
Funding Stacking Restrictions

Go Electric Rebates program funds are not allowed to be stacked with other CleanBC program funds. Stacking of funding from other government funding programs with the Go Electric Rebates program will be limited to 75% of eligible project costs, except in the case where the applicant is a local or Indigenous government or their department or agency in which case the stacking limit for government funding is 100% of the total project costs.

Description of Funding
- Rebate amounts vary by vehicle type.
- To apply to the Go Electric Rebates Program, applicants must complete the online application form and provide all necessary supporting documentation (e.g. final bill of sale that includes VIN, model, name and address of purchaser/lessee, purchase date and price; business license if applicable). The completed application and supporting documentation must be submitted no later than 90 days after the vehicle purchase and before March 31, 2025 in order to qualify for the rebate.
