Business Energy Saving Incentives is a self serve online program offering which calculates incentives based on actual hours of use, energy savings per project and payback time using a tiered incentive structure. Commercial, residential strata customers and small industrial customers can submit simple, one for one retrofit projects and receive up to a 75% incentive. BESI is an option for local governments and Indigenous communities in any commercial or small industrial buildings.

  • Get funding for energy-efficient equipment upgrades.
  • Upgrade eligible energy efficient products and BC Hydro provides funding to cover about 25% of the upfront costs (on average) through energy-saving incentives.
Not only do these incentives shorten the payback period of your upfront investment, they make the decision to upgrade easy – helping reduce consumption, save on energy costs, and increase bottom line. These incentives could help save over an average of $2,400 per year on your bill depending on your energy usage and efficiency upgrades.
