CleanBC Go Electric commercial vehicle programs are designed to support the adoption of commercial zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs)  in a variety of applications across all modes.
Zero-emission commercial vehicles include battery electric or hydrogen fuel cell motorcycles, low-speed utility trucks, heavy duty transport trucks, medium and heavy-duty trucks, passenger buses, airport and port services vehicles, as well as domestic marine, air and rail vehicles.
There are currently two CleanBC Go Electric commercial vehicle programs that provide funding to aid in the deployment of zero-emission commercial vehicles:
  1.     The CleanBC Go Electric Specialty Use Vehicle Incentive (SUVI) Program for applicants seeking support for the deployment of commercially available ZEVs; and
  2.     The CleanBC Go Electric Commercial Vehicle Pilots (CVP) Program, for applicants seeking support for both deploying early market ZEVs and installing charging/fueling infrastructure, and who will collect and share data on their projects to inform future deployments of similar vehicles, future programming, and future development of ZEV technologies.

Funding Stacking Restrictions

Yes

Fund stacking is restricted for the SUVI and CVP programs. Both programs cannot be combined with funding from other CleanBC programs for the same project items.

Stacking of funding from other government funding programs (both provincial and federal) with the CleanBC programs will be limited to 75% of eligible project costs, except in the case where the applicant is a local or Indigenous government or their department or agency in which case the stacking limit for government funding is 100% of the total project costs.
