(See the Map)The Canada Community Building Fund (formerly the Gas Tax Fund) provides predictable, stable and long-term funding to all local governments in BC for investment in infrastructure and capacity building projects. The fund is delivered through three program streams: Community Works Fund; Strategic Priorities Fund; and Greater Vancouver Regional Fund.
The MVRF provides funding for regional transportation investments within the Metro Vancouver Regional District and its member municipalities. Project are proposed by TransLink and approved by the Greater Vancouver Regional District Board.
