The Community Opportunity Readiness Program (CORP) provides project-based funding to First Nation and Inuit communities for a range of activities to support communities’ pursuit of economic opportunities and leverage private sector resources necessary to realize the full potential of these opportunities. Where First Nation and Inuit communities, or their representative organizations, identify opportunities and lack the financial resources to pursue them, CORP provides communities an opportunity to submit proposals to obtain additional funding.

The CORP Regional Process is designed to support proposals requesting up to $250,000. Projects requesting over $250,000 are ranked and reviewed through the national CORP Prioritization Framework Process, which is designed to support projects with the most optimal economic opportunities.

CORP Regional Process

• An annual call out letter for applications. The applications are reviewed in compliance with the National CORP Guidelines and ranked on a regional project ranking scale.
